About

See what the job costs in money and time.

WorthMyTime compares posted pay with the unpaid time and expenses attached to a shift, job, or gig.

What the calculators do

Enter the pay, paid hours, commute, unpaid time, estimated taxes, and work costs that apply to you. WorthMyTime calculates how much money remains and how much total time the work takes.

Why the result differs from a paycheck

A paycheck does not include commute time, preparation, parking, tolls, or other costs outside payroll. Tax withholding and benefits also vary. The result is an estimate built from your entries, not a payroll calculation.

Use the result as a comparison

The number can expose a poor shift or show that a higher wage is not always the better offer. It cannot measure safety, schedule control, job stability, benefits, training, or career growth. Those still belong in the decision.

Why there are separate tools

A single shift, a regular workweek, two job offers, and a one-time gig need different inputs. Each calculator keeps the form focused on the decision being made.

How entries are handled

Calculations run in your browser. No account or bank connection is required. Recent shift entries can be saved on the same device, and copied calculator links can include the values entered in the form.
